Rowan Moon is one of the 13 Celtic Tree Months.
As it features the feast of Imbolc, associated with Brighid, the Celtic goddess of hearth and home, it seemed fitting to release Megge and Brighida's story on Imbolc, February 1, and open it with this lovely epigraph by poet Annie Finch:

                                                  "Imbolc"
From the east she has gathered like wishes.
She has woven a night into dawn.

Sincere thanks to Annie Finch and Weslyan University Press for permission to open the enhanced edition of Megge of Bury Down with this lovely excerpt from "Imbolc Dance," taken from Annie Finch's The Poetry Witch Little Book of Spells.

Good news for 2020. A new, enhanced edition of Megge of Bury Down is slated for release in early spring in preparation for the autumn release of Megge's continuing story, Lady of the Cliffs: Book Two of the Bury Down Chronicles series.

MEGGE will have a fresh new look, and both books will feature the supplementary material readers have requested: a map with the story locations flagged and a list of characters and their relationships.

An announcement of the release dates is forthcoming! Stay tuned!

My best to you,
Rebecca

"Megge is a protagonist easy to fall in love with, to root for, to worry about, and when dark forces enter her world, Kightlinger’s storytelling abilities shine."
