Rowan Moon is one of the 13 Celtic Tree Months. As it features the feast of Imbolc, associated with Brighid, the Celtic goddess of hearth and home, it seemed fitting to release Megge and Brighida's story on Imbolc, February 1, and open it with this lovely epigraph by poet Annie Finch: "Imbolc" From the east she has gathered like wishes. She has woven a night into dawn. Sincere thanks to Annie Finch and Weslyan University Press for permission to open the enhanced edition of Megge of Bury Down with this lovely excerpt from "Imbolc Dance," taken from Annie Finch's The Poetry Witch Little Book of Spells.  The new, enhanced edition of Megge of Bury Down will be released on February 1, 2020. You will be able to find it on this site and wherever books are sold.
